As a result, the FDA is recommending the following conservation strategies for use by health care organizations and personnel:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/medical-devices\/letters-health-care-providers\/ventilator-supply-mitigation-strategies-letter-health-care-providers\">Ventilator Supply Mitigation Strategies \u2013 Letter to Health Care Providers<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/medical-devices\/emergency-situations-medical-devices\/emergency-use-authorizations#covid19ventilators\">See the Emergency Use Authorization related to ventilators, anesthesia gas machines modified for use as ventilators, and positive pressure breathing devices modified for use as ventilators<\/a><\/li><\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ventilators FDA.gov A continuous ventilator is a device intended to mechanically control or assist patient breathing by delivering a predetermined percentage of oxygen in the breathing gas.
